An otherwise difficult job is made easy using this tool to remove or replace a gear shift lever. Slide the open side of the tool over the lever, engage the lugs of the tool in the open slot of the gear shift lever retainer. Press down firmly on the handles and turn to the left to disengage the retainer. Lift the lever out of the cover.

This tool is designed for pressing the camshaft gear off the camshaft without damage. The tool provides complete support and prevents damage when the gear is removed. The tool is carefully machined to permit the camshaft to pass through, and allows the bronze thrust washer to rest on the smooth top edge of the tool. This prevents damage to both gear and thrust washer when the gear is pressed off. Use under an arbor press.

At the outer end of the torque tube is a propeller shaft bushing. This tool is designed to replace the bushing to the correct depth in the tube without damage. The tool is made hollow to telescope over the end of the propeller shaft, and provides a safe way to replace the bushing and oil seal in the propeller shaft housing.
